When the Shark team first saw the intensity and fearlessness of which Bartie rides, the company set out to make him the first skateboarder on the Shark Brand team. “We’re fired up to have a skateboarder of Chad’s caliber join the Shark Brand. Bartie, 35 is originally from Australia and currently resides in southern California. He is a bronze medal winner from the 2003 and 2009 X Games and was recently featured in TransWorld Skateboarding’s “60 Minutes in the Park.”
