Quick Cuts are a series of bi-monthly short films based on the what’s what at ourCaste. They’re the video version of the things we’ve seen, the places we’ve been and experiences we’ve shared with those around us. We embrace the creative culture surrounding the brand and extend to our community the opportunity to submit their interpretations of our world. It provides a great sounding board for creatives to try out new techniques, processes, or just weird ideas that they have but don’t necessarily have a home for. Eventually we hope to have the entire Quick Cuts curated by contributors as part of our ongoing support of our growing community.
Colorado River – is America’s most endangered river and this is where most of your water comes from.
The CO River provides drinking water for 36 million people, drives a 26 billion dollar recreation economy and irrigated 15% of our nations crops. The Colorado River is a lifeline in the desert, its water sustaining tens of millions of people in seven states, as well as endangered fish and wildlife. However, demand on the river’s water now exceeds its supply, leaving the river so over-tapped that it no longer flows to the sea. Video by Pete McBride and American Rivers
